Did you know there lies a Mathematical mystery in the pineapple ?

We all know pineapple is a great fruit. It is very famous and common in all over the world. It is hard to believe that pineapple follow a science
in its the structure of its body. We will find science in all the element of the nature. Though some of them are mysterious and
hard to discover. But one of these discovery is the pineapple's mystery of following a pattern of mathematics.
First we must understand the pattern called Fibonacci pattern. This pattern is very common in the field of science and mathematics. This pattern looks like this : 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,..... The specialty of this pattern is that serially any two number makes the third number. If we think about the addition of two number 13 and the next one 21 the answer comes 55 which is the next number of 21. This pattern was discovered by Leonardo Fibonacci. But he could not work with this pattern for long time because he died at early age.
Now you are thinking about why I talked about Fibonacci pattern ?

For this answer watch closely at a pineapple's leafs. You will find that the leafs at the bottom are very small and it gets bigger step by step. Now the mystery is that this leafs are getting bigger and bigger as the Fibonacci pattern. Really it follows the Fibonacci pattern. But it is hard to maser this accurately. Sometime the answer may be wrong because of any problem in the pineapple tree though any healthy and disease free tree's leaf follow this pattern.

Not only the leafs of the pineapple tree but also many element of the nature has the use of Fibonacci pattern. The shell of a snail also follows the Fibonacci pattern.


So, Mathematics is not only just a hard subject of your book. Math lies everywhere around us. Watch closely and you also can notice many other mathematical patterns around you.
